  1. Charge collecting Belt : Silicon rubber having excellent insulation resistance.
  2. Tracking : Belt-tracking easily adjusted.
  3. Charge collecting combs : Aluminium mesh, clearly visible.
  4. Sphere : Aluminium 150 mm. dia.
  5. Connections : 4 mm. sockets in dome and base.
  6. Voltage developed : Upto 200 kV, depending on ambient conditions, with a spark length of 60 mm.
  7. Discharger : Spherical 100 mm. dia., with insulated handle and 4 mm. sockets.
