Fume Hood

Fume Hoods are designed to contain and exhaust toxic, obnoxious harmful vapours, mists etc. particularly for protecting laboratory personnel and equipment. A motor blower system generates negative pressure within the enclosure extracting the contaminated air from the work area and expels it into outside atmosphere. Highly recommended in different laboratories like Biochemistry, Soil test, Food Microbiology, Pharmaceuticals units, Printed circuit board earthing and cleaning operations, miniature component assembly etc. These are capable of handling corrosive fumes of sulphur & Hydrochloric acid etc. Fume hood made of stainless steel. Acid resistant. The work surface is fitted with small wash basin with good quality tap. A gas cock is also fitted for gas supply. A sliding slash made of toughend weight. Chamber is fitted with 20W fluorescent light. The space underneath the work station is provided with storage compartment for proper uses. 15/5 Amp socket with switches is provided for light and exhaust system, supplied with cord and plug to work on 220/440volts 1/3 phase 50Hz A.C. Complete with exhaust system and stainless steel Deck & Dust to take out fumes.
